Legal Services of Eastern Missouri Announces New Board Members

Three new Directors join the Board

Aug. 7, 2019 (St. Louis) – Legal Services of Eastern Missouri elected John Munich, Jacqueline Redmond and Pearl Williams as new members of the Board of Directors at its June meeting.

John R. Munich is a partner with Stinson LLP and chair of Stinson’s business and commercial litigation practice.  Munich previously served as Chief of Litigation and Deputy Attorney General for the State of Missouri and as Assistant U. S. Attorney for the District of Columbia. He has served as a Board Member for Edgewood Children’s Center and is currently Chair of the Great Circle Eastern Regional Council. While living in Washington D.C. he was a member of the Lawyers Committee for civil rights. He received his law degree from Saint Louis University.

Jacqueline Redmond is a shareholder with Sandberg Phoenix where she concentrates on civil litigation defenses, product liability, premises liability and toxic tort defense. She was previously a partner with Herzog Crebs. She was recently awarded Missouri Lawyers Weekly’s “Up and Coming Award” for her pro bono work. Prior to joining the Board, Redmond was President of the Young Friends of Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, 2016-2018.  She received her law degree from Saint Louis University.

Pearl J. Williams joins the Board as a client representative. She has previously served as a school teacher, tutor, church instructor and musician.  She was the Administrator for the Niagara County Legal Services Corporation, the local legal aid program, in Niagara Falls, NY from 1980 until her retirement in 1995. Williams holds master degrees in both Pastoral Counseling and Theological Doctrine from Liberty University.
